COGNITIVE HYPNOTHERAPY

Healing with Hypnosis

About Me

I am a trauma-informed QCH trained and NCH certified Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner. My training has equipped me with a person-centred, integrative approach to therapy. Person-centred means placing you at the heart of every session. It means prioritising a supportive and non-judgemental environment where we can meet, human to human, and safely work together to ensure your individual needs, values and preferences are honoured and respected.

I use an integrative approach which draws on therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Parts Work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Integration (EMI) and traditional Talk Therapy. I’ve found that by having a blended approach to my work I’m not limited by any one particular modality. This allows me to adapt and customise my approach to fit each and everyone of my client’s individual needs and life experiences.

Before training in Cognitive Hypnotherapy and NLP, I worked to support survivors of domestic abuse and addicts in recovery. It is still a great passion of mine, and through this work I felt I had finally found my calling. I wanted to expand my knowledge and my reach, which is what inspired me to train in Hypnotherapy and NLP. I’m grateful that my journey put me on a path that gave me the tools I needed to rediscover who I was before fear, pain and trauma distorted my sense of self. The greatest gift in my life so far is being able to pass those tools on to others, and witness the magic of change in their lives.
